Luke Skywalker’s Light Saber Made in New York?

Made in the USA (20th Century Studios)

Sure enough, after watching Empire with this newfound knowledge the lightsaber is right there in an ice cave sticking out from a wall with New York emblazoned across the bottom side. Turns out parts from Luke’s lightsaber were made from an old Graflex camera.

It’s surprising albeit exciting that this minor oversight, which director Irvin Kershner either overlooked or ignored, had remained undiscovered for so long.

ANDOR the latest Star Wars spinoff premiers August 31 on Disney Plus.
