Update: The Nintendo Switch Mario Red & Blue Edition completely sold out in the Nintendo Store quickly after its release. However, retailers are scrambling to ensure steady flows of stock.

A new Nintendo Switch model has arrived! Nintendo Switch Mario Red & Blue Edition was made available on February 11 at the Nintendo Store (online), a day earlier than retail. Its launch was supposed to be February 12, the same day as Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, but Nintendo decided to drop the highly anticipated system a day early. Those who frequent the website were made aware of the release just minutes prior to its launch.
While it’s functionally the same as the other Switch versions, the Nintendo Switch Mario Red & Blue Edition is styled to match the wardrobe of everyone’s favorite 8-bit plumber.
It costs $299, the same price as other versions.
