Ken Griffey Jr.’s best MLB moments | SportsCenter

I remember it vividly. Ken Griffey Jr. smashed a ball during the 1993 Home Run Derby that hit the warehouse at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Stepping to the plate with his hat on backwards, “The Kid” earned himself a plaque that to this day marks the feat.

Seriously, there’s a plaque on the warehouse for a player who didn’t even play for the Orioles. But that’s only one thing of a zillion things that make Ken Griffey Jr’s career so special.

On the 12th anniversary of Ken Griffey Jr. hitting his 600th career home run, SportsCenter counts down the top 10 moments of his MLB career.

Griffey could easily have a top 100!
